Dayal Eye Centre is a single, NABH-accredited eye hospital in Gurugram — not a chain, and not a separate Sohna branch. Many of our patients make the short journey because they want their eyes treated by a genuinely senior specialist, on the same technology used at leading centres, at a fair and transparent price.

Signature procedures backed by fellowship-trained surgeons and FDA-approved laser platforms.
Every sub-specialty is led by a fellowship-trained surgeon — whatever brings you in from Sohna, you're seen by someone who treats it every day.
Not sure which treatment you need? Schedule a comprehensive eye check-up and our specialists will guide you.
Distance makes people postpone. Some of these should not be postponed — match what you notice to how soon it needs a specialist.
| What You Notice | What It May Point To | How Soon |
|---|---|---|
| A curtain across your vision, or a sudden shower of floaters and flashes | Retinal tear or detachment | Same day — emergency |
| Severely painful red eye with haloes, headache and vomiting | Acute angle-closure glaucoma | Same day — emergency |
| Diabetes for five years or more, never a dilated retina check | Diabetic retinopathy, usually silent | Within weeks, then yearly |
| Headlight glare at night, washed-out colours, glasses number changing often | Cataract developing | Within a month |
| Slow loss of side vision, or glaucoma in a parent or sibling | Glaucoma | Within a month |
| Burning, gritty, tired eyes and evening headaches after long screen hours | Digital eye strain, dry eye | Soon — don’t just keep changing glasses |
| A child sitting close to the TV, tilting the head, or one eye drifting | Squint, lazy eye, glasses number | Within a month |
Not sure which of these is you? A single consultation with our doctors tells you exactly where you stand — and we'll tell you plainly if nothing needs doing yet.
FDA-approved and CE-certified surgical and diagnostic systems, in a NABH-accredited setting with three modular operation theatres.
Five senior sub-specialists, trained at AIIMS New Delhi, Aravind Eye Hospital and internationally.
In an older, more agricultural and semi-urban catchment the pattern is consistent. Cataract arrives late — sight has usually been fading a year or more before anyone calls it a problem, and by then the lens is dense. Diabetic retinopathy turns up in people who have had diabetes for eight or ten years and never had a dilated retina examination; research suggests roughly one in three people with diabetes develops some degree of retinopathy, and the early stages change nothing about how you see. Glaucoma (kala motia) is found late because it causes no pain and gives no early warning — and the side vision it takes does not come back.
This is where our outreach work matters: we run 15–20 community eye camps every month across Gurgaon and Delhi-NCR under our "Saving Sights, Saving Lives" programme, and a camp screening is often how a cataract or retina problem is first picked up.
The high-rise-and-office corridor is a much younger population with completely different complaints — digital eye strain and dry eye (burning, grittiness, evening headaches), and refractive surgery. People in their twenties and thirties weigh LASIK, SMILE and Contoura Vision against one another.
We offer SMILE and Contoura Vision under one roof, so the choice turns on what your cornea allows rather than on what a centre happens to own.
For most families travelling in from Sohna the scheme matters more than the sticker price, so start there. We provide cashless treatment across empanelled insurers and TPAs, and accept Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY), CGHS, ECHS and the Health Department, Government of Haryana. Bring your card to the first consultation and our billing desk will check your coverage before you commit to anything. Where a scheme does not apply — refractive surgery is elective — Easy EMI (via Savein) is available. See full details on policies and insurance.

We're in Sector 15 Part 2, Gurugram — beside 32nd Avenue, just off NH-48 — with on-site parking, wheelchair access and an in-patient ward if you need to stay.
Sohna Road (NH-248A) northbound, roughly 25–28 km and 45–60 minutes depending on traffic. The variable stretch is Badshahpur through Subhash Chowk, which at peak hours can add twenty minutes on its own. From Subhash Chowk continue towards Sector 15 Part 2 and Galaxy Road — we’re beside 32nd Avenue (about 150 m), just off NH-48, with on-site parking.
Buses run between Sohna and Gurugram Bus Stand / ISBT Sector 12, about 2.5–3 km from us, with shared autos and e-rickshaws waiting outside the centre. Coming via Delhi, IFFCO Chowk on the Yellow Line is the most practical metro station at about 3.5–4 km.
Book the earliest slot you can and bring an attendant — a full examination usually needs dilation drops, which blur near vision for a few hours, so you should not drive yourself back to Sohna. Distances and times are approximate and traffic-dependent.
"Dayal Eye Centre is a single NABH-accredited eye hospital in Sector 15, Gurugram. We serve patients from Sohna and across Delhi-NCR; we do not operate a separate branch in Sohna."
Fewer than most Sohna families expect.
You come in the morning, the procedure takes well under an hour, and you travel home the same evening with your drops and instructions. In most cases there's no need to arrange an overnight stay in Gurgaon — and if your surgeon does advise admission, our in-patient ward is on site with general, semi-private and private beds.
A cataract journey usually runs to a pre-surgery evaluation, the surgery day, a next-day review, then follow-ups at about one week and one month. Where travel is genuinely difficult we'll try to combine the evaluation and investigations into one visit — tell the front desk you're coming from Sohna when you book. For refractive surgery, screening and surgery are on separate days.
Suitability depends on a detailed evaluation — not every patient is a candidate, and we'll tell you plainly if you're not.
