Eye Hospital for Manesar Patients

Of every town we serve, Manesar is the closest. We're in Sector 15 Part 2, Gurugram — beside 32nd Avenue, just off NH-48 — roughly 18–20 km straight up the expressway from IMT Manesar, about 30–40 minutes in normal traffic. Six sub-specialities, six senior specialists, three modular operation theatres and an in-patient ward, about half an hour from your gate.

Check Your Symptoms

Is It Time to See a Specialist?

If any of these sounds familiar, a consultation will tell you exactly where you stand.

What You're NoticingHow Soon to Be Seen
Suspected penetrating injury, chemical splash, sudden vision loss, blood in the eyeImmediately — nearest emergency facility
Foreign-body sensation, pain or watering after dust or metal exposureSame day or next morning
White or grey spot on the cornea, worsening light sensitivityWithin 24 hours
Frequent power changes, headaches or eye strain by mid-shiftWithin a few weeks
Glare or haloes around headlights at nightWithin a month — often early cataract
Diabetes diagnosed, no retina check in 12 monthsBook now, even without symptoms
Family history of glaucoma, or age over 40Screening every 1–2 years
A child squinting, head-tilting or sitting close to screensWithin a month; sooner if one eye drifts

Diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma are worth booking for even without symptoms — both advance quietly and are far easier to manage when found early.

Workplace Eye Injury

An Eye Injury at Work: What Needs Attention Today, and What Can Wait?

Workshop injuries are why cornea leads this page. Most are small and settle well. A few do not — and that difference is worth stating plainly.

Do not wait, and do not drive yourself — go to the nearest emergency facility immediately if:
  • Something struck the eye at speed and may have gone into it rather than landing on it — a grinding fragment or a chip off a lathe. A suspected penetrating injury is an emergency.
  • A chemical, solvent, acid, alkali or hot fluid has splashed in — irrigate at the eyewash station at once and keep flushing on the way. Alkali keeps causing damage after the pain eases.
  • There is sudden vision loss, blood inside the eye, a cut to the lid or eyeball, or an oddly shaped pupil.
Be seen the same day or next morning if:
  • A foreign body is still felt after rinsing.
  • The eye stays painful, red or watering hours after dust or metal exposure.
  • Light becomes hard to tolerate.
  • A white or grey spot appears on the cornea. That last sign can mean a corneal ulcer, which needs treatment — not over-the-counter steroid drops, which can worsen an infection and raise eye pressure.

Published occupational-health research consistently reports that most workplace eye injuries involve workers wearing no eye protection, or the wrong type for the task. Side-shielded safety glasses, sealed goggles for grinding and chemical handling, and a face shield over goggles for high-energy work remain the most effective control — part of what our Corporate Outreach Program supports.

We're open Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM, closed Sunday. Outside those hours, use the nearest 24-hour emergency department and bring the records to us afterwards.

Specs Removal

Glasses That Won't Survive a Shift: Is Refractive Surgery an Option?

Goggles that fog over spectacles, a face shield that won't sit right, a helmet strap pushing frames off your nose — for many of Manesar's shift workers and engineers, glasses are a daily obstruction. Refractive surgery can reduce dependence on glasses, and for many people it removes the practical problem entirely.

We run the full range rather than one procedure: ReLEx SMILE on the ZEISS VisuMax, Contoura Vision on the Alcon WaveLight EX500, Femto LASIK, and the surface options PRK, Epi-Contoura and StreamLight. Which suits you depends on your power, corneal thickness and shape, tear film and job — a flap-free or surface procedure is often the more sensible discussion for someone working around dust or impact risk.

Suitability depends on a detailed evaluation — not every patient is a candidate, and we'll tell you plainly if you're not. Assessment includes corneal tomography on the OCULUS Pentacam and ray-tracing aberrometry on iTRACE — how thin or irregular corneas get picked up before a decision, not after. Plan for someone to bring you home, and expect to stay out of dusty shop-floor areas while healing.

Distances and times are approximate and traffic-dependent — Rajiv Chowk and Hero Honda Chowk are slow at shift-change and peak hours. For a first full evaluation, book an early slot. You'll be dilated, so near vision stays blurred for a few hours and bright light feels harsh: don't plan to drive yourself back down NH-48. Bring an attendant or plan a cab, and carry sunglasses.

Dayal Eye Centre is a single NABH-accredited eye hospital in Sector 15, Gurugram (Gurgaon). We serve patients from Manesar and across Delhi-NCR; we do not operate a separate branch in Manesar.

Day-Care Treatment

Planning a Treatment Day From Manesar

Most of what we do is same-day day care. Cataract surgery, LASIK, SMILE, Contoura, PRK, glaucoma and retina lasers, and most foreign-body and minor lid procedures are done and discharged the same day. Our in-patient ward is there if your surgeon advises an overnight stay.

What to bring
  • Photo ID, your current glasses and any old prescriptions.
  • Every eye drop and regular medicine you take, plus previous reports or scans.
  • Your insurance, CGHS, ECHS, Ayushman Bharat or Haryana Government card.
  • After a workplace injury, any incident note from your plant's medical room.

A refractive or cataract pathway typically means one visit for evaluation and counselling, one for the procedure, and a few reviews afterwards — frequency is your surgeon's call. Because Manesar is close, most patients fit reviews around a shift rather than taking a full day.

FAQs

Questions Manesar Patients Ask Us

No. We are one NABH-accredited eye hospital in Sector 15 Part 2, Gurugram. We see patients from Manesar and IMT Manesar every week, but we do not operate a branch, clinic or unit there.

About 30–40 minutes for roughly 18–20 km along NH-48 towards Delhi — traffic-dependent, and slower at peak hours.

If the object may have penetrated the eye, if a chemical splashed in, or if vision dropped suddenly, go to the nearest emergency facility immediately; do not travel past one to reach us. For surface grit, an abrasion, or an eye still red and painful after dust exposure, come to us the same day or next morning.

Yes. Our Corporate Outreach Program extends preventive eye care into workplaces. Call +91 81786 39701 or email wecare@dayaleyecentre.in to discuss a session for your unit.

Usually not — tomography, aberrometry, tear-film assessment and power stability must be reviewed first. Suitability depends on a detailed evaluation; not every patient is a candidate, and we will tell you plainly if you are not.

Intervals are set by your surgeon, and some early visits cannot be moved. Tell your surgeon your shift pattern at counselling and it will be planned around it wherever clinically safe.

We offer cashless treatment across a wide panel of insurers and TPAs, and are empanelled under CGHS, ECHS, Ayushman Bharat (PM-JAY) and the Health Department, Government of Haryana. Bring your card and our billing desk will confirm coverage.

Bring an attendant for a first full examination and for any procedure — dilation blurs near vision, so you should not drive back. Overnight stays are usually unnecessary; our ward is available if your surgeon advises one.
