FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

The consultation and vision assessment fee is confirmed at reception, and any additional tests (pressure, OCT, retinal imaging) are itemised — for example OCT is around ₹4,000–₹6,000. You only pay for what your eyes actually need.

Adults should have a full check every one to two years, and yearly after 40 or if you have diabetes, high eye pressure or a family history of eye disease. Children should be screened during the preschool years.

Several sight-threatening conditions — glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and early cataract — have no early symptoms. A comprehensive checkup catches them early, when they are most treatable, even if your vision feels normal.

Routine checkups are often out-of-pocket, while investigations linked to a medical condition may be covered, subject to your policy. We share all costs up front.

Usually under an hour, though it can be longer if your eyes are dilated for a retinal examination (in which case bring sunglasses and avoid driving straight afterwards).
