Dr. Neelam Khatwani is a vitreo-retinal surgeon with qualifications spanning MBBS and DNB, earning a gold medal in her post graduation. She trained further with a Fellowship in Vitreo-Retina Surgery at H.V. Desai Eye Hospital, Pune and a Fellowship in Medical Retina at Shroff Eye Centre, Delhi.

With over 8 years of experience, she manages the full breadth of the posterior segment — diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, macular hole, retinal holes, age-related macular degeneration and other complex retinal disorders — from intravitreal injections and retinal lasers to vitreo-retinal surgery.

She is also a specialist in retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), screening and treating premature babies, and in uveitis. Her surgical practice includes secondary IOL and scleral-fixated IOL (SF-IOL) implantation for eyes without capsular support. She consults in English, Hindi and Sindhi.
