Strabismus, another name for squinting, happens when the eyes are not looking in the same direction. One or both eyes may be effected. The squinting may occasionally turn up or down, converge, or diverge. Squints are thought to be permanent disorders and cannot be treated. But the truth is that Squint is treatable .

A few clinical tests are part of the pre-operative examination before the surgery. When operating on both eyes is essential to obtain the appropriate alignment, the lid speculum is utilized to hold the eye open. Extraocular muscles, which are located across the surface of the eyeball, are occasionally subjected to specialized corrections to realign the eyes. Absorbable sutures are applied & the scar eventually disappears. Eye drops for healing and painkillers will be administered to you.
